This story follows Jane "Dragonfly" Archer as she arrives home from the hospital to a broken apartment that reflects the damage from the violence on her physically and mentally. Bandages and healing scars do nothing to protect her from reliving the horror of that night her trusted husband, turned violent. Every instinct tells her to run but a call for help from someone else, reminds her of the hero she still is and gives her the strength to keep fighting.
