After their retirement from company employment about 15 years ago, Mrs. and Mr. Kikuchi left Tokyo and started a new life in the rural and mountainous region on the island of Kyushu in Japan. They built a hinoki farm with their own hands. This is a study of daily work and the simple things in life.
